Biggymind started as reading practice for two real kids -- a 6th grader and a 4th grader in Celina ISD, Texas -- built by their parent because the apps already out there weren't holding their attention or actually adapting to what each of them needed. It has since grown into a complete K-12 learning platform covering Reading, Writing, and Science, with more subjects on the way. It's designed around the Texas TEKS standards for every subject it teaches, not built as generic worksheets with a game skin on top.
The idea is simple: practice that adjusts to where a kid actually is, not just their grade level -- a placement quiz finds the right starting point for each individual skill in every subject, and every session after that adapts from real performance, not a fixed curriculum path. Progress is real and visible, both to the kid (through Biggy, their own companion who grows and levels up alongside them) and to a parent, who can see exactly where their kid stands against grade-level standards, not just a vague "great job!"
Biggymind is currently in a free, invite-and-open beta -- still actively being built and refined with real families using it, not a finished, static product. Reading, Writing, and Science are live today, with more subjects planned on the same platform.
"Biggymind" came first, as an idea, not a drawing: every kid deserves to grow a genuinely big mind -- to learn, stay curious, and find the way of learning that actually works for them. The drawing came after, and separately: one of the two kids Biggymind was built for wanted to draw something inspired by the name itself, and that drawing became the real origin of Biggy's round, friendly shape.
